Regulatory governance of
prostitution
The governance of prostitution policy is a highly contentious question on which the public and political arena largely disagrees in Europe. Accordingly, regulatory approaches vary greatly across Europe. What are the main differences between countries? Which policy instruments are used? How is the policy implemented and enforced? And what kind of private or semi-public actors take over regulatory responsibility (e.g., churches, NGOs, doctors, etc.) in the field to improve policy implementation? All these questions, are tacked in my past, current and future work on this specific public policy.
